At any Toyota dealership, Libertyville customers have come to expect the highest of safety standards. The new Camry recently earned the NHTSA 5-Star crash safety rating for the 2012 model year. The Camry met the NHTSA’s revised standards for the crash safety test without question. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recently revamped its crash tests, including a new side impact test that simulates a driver’s side-impact crash into a tree or pole. The new tests are meant to raise the bar on top-tier vehicles safety ratings, thus increasing overall vehicle safety standards in the United States. Recently, Toyota tallied another notch in its belt earning “Top Automotive Brand” honors in Kelley’s Blue Book kbb.com Resale Value Awards. Winners are evaluated on how well they retain their original value through the first five years of ownership. The Toyota nameplate was all over the KBB awards this year, with the FJ Cruiser, Tacoma and Camry all achieving recognition.
