We’ve got a second edition of the Community Calendar this month; our first edition highlighted where to find fireworks displays and 4th of July celebrations around the Chicagoland area and Lake County. Today, we’re bringing you events from family friendly fun to adults only trivia nights to wine tastings and food trucks and more! So get ready, because July is heating up with some scorching summer fun.

Beach Fest is coming to Round Lake Beach Civic Center on Saturday July 5th!

The Mundelein Community Days Car Show rolls into town on Saturday July 5th from 9AM to 3PM!

Lincolnshire Arts Festival is hitting the Village Green on July 5th and July 6th from 10AM to 5PM.

Brothers’ Field Flavor Days is hosting “America the Beautiful” Summer Food series event on July 6th from 1PM to 4PM in Long Grove.

Louis Glunz Wines Tasting is coming to Beer Bazaar in Grayslake on Wednesday July 9th from 3PM to 6PM during the Grayslake Farmers Market event.

Nicole Devine Music will be performing at Tighthead Brewing Company on July 10th from 7PM to 9PM.

Lady A will be performing at Zion Park District on Thursday July 10th from 7PM to 8:30PM at the Zion park District Band Shell for an evening of R&B and Blues.

Scoop Waukegan 2025 Car Show is heading to downtown Waukegan on Friday July 11th and Saturday July 12th with live entertainment, vendors, and family activities.

Enjoy a free movie night outdoors for “If” as part of the Movies in the Park series at Waukegan’s Diversity Park starting at 8:30PM on Saturday July 12th including a free family art activity.

The Art Impact Project is offering 90 minute sessions to foster emotional wellness through creative expression at the Dunbar Recreation Center in Mundelein on July 15th.
