For years now, the Toyota Tundra has been one of America’s favorite half-ton, full-size pickup trucks. Now it is going to get a series of impressive updates that will further solidify its reputation in the States. With its unique blend of style, performance and rugged capability, the 2014 Toyota Tundra is already generating buzz around the industry. Read on to learn how the 2014 Toyota Tundra can work for you.

Outside, the new Tundra features a bold, powerful exterior redesign thanks to chiseled lines, wider stance and a new three-piece front bumper. The interior is tailored to each trim level, including available 2-speaker touch-screen Entune™ Premium JBL Audio system with navigation, and heated and ventilated front seats.

Under the hood, you have three engine options: a 4.0-liter V6 (270 horsepower), the 4.6-liter V8 (310 horsepower), and the 5.7-liter V8 (381 horsepower), which help the Tundra along to a maximum tow capacity of 10,400 pounds.

Yet, for all these enhancements, one thing remains true about the Toyota Tundra: it is styled, engineered, and assembled in the United States. So if you’re looking for Toyota cars in Waukegan, you know that the Tundra is engineered at the Toyota Technical Center in Ann Arbor, Mich.; styling is conceptualized and executed at the Calty Design Research centers in Newport Beach, Calif.; the V6 and V8 engines are built at Toyota Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Inc. in Huntsville, Ala.; transmissions are built at a facility in North Carolina; and the Tundra itself is assembled at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in San Antonio, Texas (TMMTX).

At Classic Toyota, we’re proud of the Tundra heritage, and we’re certain that the 2014 model will continue the tradition.
