It’s Record Store Day!

Record Store Day was started in 2007 by a group of indie record store owners and employees to help celebrate the magic and nostalgia of vinyl, and share the love of vinyl collecting culture with others. There are over 1400 independent independently owned stores. Each year, artists all over the world come together and create special collections, limited editions, and rereleases specifically for Record Store Day! It’s a great way to be introduced to new musical styles as well as supporting local indie artists and independent small businesses. Each year a celebrity Record Store Day Ambassador is also chosen, and for 2022 that person is none other than the reining pop queen herself: Taylor Swift.
