There’s never a bad time to do some Spring Cleaning!  And that’s especially true if we’re talking about our vehicles, of course.  We spend a lot of time on the go to and from work, school, activities, clubs, classes, and all sorts of other adventures. In fact, AAA says that American drivers spend about 17,600 minutes on average behind the wheel of a car. That’s a long time to be in there without cleaning, and even more frightening to learn more than 30% of drivers rarely clean their car.  Did you know that there are about 700 different strains of bacteria living in your vehicle?  Yikes! Today is Independent Bookstore Day!  Founded in 2013, this day was created to help local residents and their communities connect with indie booksellers to foster a wonderful community of readers!  This year is the 10th anniversary of this special holiday, and we’re very excited about it!  Indie bookstores are a great way to support small, local business owners as well as getting to know new authors, creators, and fellow bibliophiles.   Each year on Indie Bookstore Day, a series of unique promotional items, new releases, and special events will be held at your local bookstores and many continue the festivities well on into the weekend.
