Say Hello to the New 2018 Toyota Camry

How does a car manufacturer keep its customers interested in one of its best-selling models? In the case of our parent company, it keeps creating a sedan with new styling, more technology, and more power. In early January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, the 2018 Toyota Camry was unveiled. Look to our showroom at Classic Toyota, in Waukegan, IL, to be carrying this new vehicle later this summer.

We’re looking forward to adding this new Toyota Camry model to our new inventory. We feel that our loyal sedan customers will be thrilled with this boldly different eighth generation design. The bestselling Toyota Camry passenger car in the U.S. will be even more dynamic, athletic, and fun to drive around northern Illinois.

Our customers will instantly recognize the sedan’s four trim options: LE, XLE, SE, and XSE. However, this newer sportier version will have different features for the luxury, sport, and hybrid trims and come complete with larger wheels, a larger spoiler lip, and larger bumpers.

Toyota engineers have also set the different trim options apart with three new powertrains: a 3.5 liter V6 and a new high volume 2.5 liter four both with an eight speed automatic, and the hybrid version with a 2.5 liter 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor and a continuously variable transmission.

Since we know that safety remains a high priority, our Toyota engineers have maintained the sedan’s reputation as a safe, durable, and very reliable vehicle and built the new 2018 Toyota Camry with Toyota Safety Sense with pre-collision warnings, pedestrian detection, radar cruise control, lane departure warning, and steering assist.

It’s only less than six months away till we start to see the new 2018 Toyota Camry models arriving at our Waukegan, IL showroom. Our sales force looks forward to showing our customers how this venerable sedan has gone through a total evolution, from a proven, dependable, and safe car to one that also possesses a more exciting and emotional character, thanks to its newfound sporty performance and style.
