A Preview of the 2019 Toyota Avalon

If you’re familiar with our Toyota dealership near Gurnee, IL, then you know we have some exciting vehicles in our new car inventory, such as the 2018 Toyota Prius, the 2018 Toyota Highlander, and the all-new 2018 Toyota Camry. We’re even happier to tell you that the redesigned 2019 Toyota Avalon is expected to join our new car inventory in mid-2018.

The new Toyota Avalon is longer, lower, and wider than its predecessor. The full-size sedan gained two inches along its wheelbase and its front and rear tracks have a noticeably wider stance. The 2019 Toyota Avalon is also more aerodynamic thanks to things like a rear spoiler and front air curtains. The sedan’s coefficient of drag is just 0.27 cd.

The 2019 Toyota Avalon will be offered in four trims that were designed with “authenticity” and “exhilaration” in mind, according to the Toyota brand. The XLE and Limited trims have a high-end look and feel while the XSE and Touring models have a look and driving characteristics that are a bit sportier.

We’re proud to tell you that the new Toyota Avalon will be equipped with the Toyota Safety Sense-P™ suite of advanced safety and driver assistive features. This suite includes adaptive cruise control, a forward collision warning that has automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection, a lane departure warning and mitigation system, and automatic high beams.

The 2019 Toyota Avalon is the first Toyota car that will be equipped with Apple CarPlay™. The sedan’s other tech features include the Entune™ 3.0 infotainment system, a nine-inch touchscreen, a navigation app, and a six-month free trial for Remote Connect with Amazon Alexa and Smartwatch.
